Things to do near Thomastown, VIC

Only a short drive to the north of the Motel is the Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre and the historic Ziebell’s Farmhouse, outbuildings and garden.

Located near to start of the Hume Highway, the hotel is perfectly positioned to access Northern Victoria.

Keon Park train station is a short walk from the hotel, which is a direct line to Melbourne city.

Getting here

Located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, you can travel to The Excelsior Hotel/Motel by car, taxi, bus or train. The nearest train station is Keon Park.

By car, the hotel is close to the Hume Highway and Western Ring Road and only a 10 minute drive from Melbourne airport.

From the airport, head north-east on Departure Drive then keep right and follow the signs for Melbourne/Tullamarine Freeway. Take the Mickleham Road exit and turn left then at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Broadmeadows Road. It's then a slight right onto Johnstone Street then continue onto Camp Road which becomes Mahoneys Road. The hotel is on the left.
